Cinnamon Flop
1 cup milk, scalded 1/3 cup margarine 1/3 cup sugar 3 1/2 cups flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. yeast dissolved in a little milk or water 2 cups brown sugar 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Scald milk (do not boil). Add margarine and dissolve in milk. Add sugar and 1/2 of flour and yeast mixture and egg and salt. Beat well. Gradually add rest of flour and mix well. Put in bowl and let rise until double in size (in warm spot).
Divide dough in 4 9 inch pie plates. Indent dough with fingertips and dot with small pieces of butter.
Moisten dough with warm water to make crumbs stick, then combine brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over moistened top. Cover and let rise until doubled.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
