Don't know if this is the one, but it was labeled Plantation Pecan Pie. It should be close; Plantation Pecans is located in Louisiana, and this recipe calls for cane syrup. Good luck!

PLANTATION PECAN PIE

3 eggs
1 cup dark corn or cane syrup
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups pecan halves
1 nine-inch unbaked pie crust

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In large bowl, beat eggs. Stir in syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla. Stir in pecans. Pour in crust.

Bake, uncovered, 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted about 1-1/2 inches from edge comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.
