Hi Christina :-) DH is out of town and since he isn't a big fan of Sloppy Joes, I made these for myself last night for dinner. I have to let you know that I liked them a lot :-)! Thank you for posting this simple and good recipe. I made it with 1/2 lb. ground sirloin and reduced the amounts of everything else. I only ate one so I have leftovers to freeze for the next time DH is out of town :-)

Really Good Sloppy Joes
(Christina, WA State's recipe)

1 to 2 lbs gr beef browned and drained
1 small onion chopped (opt)
1 green pepper chopped finely
lots of garlic powder
1 bottle of Chile Sauce (found near the cocktail sauce in the store)

"Measurements differ depending on your personal taste and if you want a real meaty sauce or a real saucy sauce, if you like onions or not etc. I never measure anything I just throw it together but, this is a very good recipe and reminded me of the ones from school. Hope you like it!!"
