Recipe(tried): Mueller's Tuna Tempter (Mueller's Tuna Noodle Casserole) - I Found It
Main Dishes - CasserolesWell, I found the box my old recipes are in and found the Mueller's recipe. I though I would post it in case anyone would like it. I've tried it and it's really good. And Gladys is right, it does use egg noodles - I must have used the macaroni instead.
Tuna Tempter
1/2 cup sliced celery
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 can (101/2 oz) condensed cream of celery soup
1 soup can of milk
1 can (7 oz) tuna, drained and flaked (I use 2)
2 tablespoons diced pimiento
8 oz. Mueller's egg noodles (6 to 61/2 cups)
1/4 cup butered bread crumbs
Cook celery and onion in butter until crisp-tender but not brown. Blend in soup and milk; add tuna and pimiento.
Meanwhile, cook noodles as directed; drain.
In 2-quart casserole, combine noodles and tuna mixture; top with crumbs.
Bake at 350 f. for 25 to 30 minutes, or until lightly browned. makes 6 servings.
I'm so glad I found this. Thanks for the help.
