I am in search of a recipe that I once had. Several years ago, a co- worker gave me a recipe for a Pineapple salad recipe that her mother had made for holiday dinners, and was somewhat of a tradition in their family. I made it once- and have lost the recipe...

It involves a 20 oz can of crushed pineapple, squeeze dried- the juice saved, and mixed in with some cornstarch, and cooked till JUST thickened. Marshmallows snipped with kitchen shears, maraschino cherries...banana extract, cool whip..and MAYBE pecans...but, not entirely sure..

I know it's an old recipe- as the lady's mother got it off the radio- in the days before tv was common place...
If anyone has this recipe, I'd really appreciate a copy of it!
