Has anyone ever heard of Fausnotkugle? It was similar to a donut, fried and then rolled in powdered sugar. My great grandmother (German) made them when we were growing up and we have no idea if she made up the name for them. We have been trying to find a recipe, but have had no luck with Fausnotkugle. I am not even sure of the spelling. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
