Dream Bars
CRUST: 1/2 cup butter or margarine 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed 1 cup flour
Mix to a crumbly mass and pat into shallow baking pan 9x13 inch.
Bake for 10 minutes in a moderate oven. Remove and let set a few minutes.
TOP LAYER: 1 cup brown sugar, packed 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 2 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/8 tsp. salt 1 cup coconut 1 cup chocolate chips 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Stir together the brown sugar and eggs. Add other ingredients. Mix thoroughly and spread over first layer.
Bake 20 minutes in a moderate oven. Cool slightly and cut into bars.
