COCOA-PINK CAKE
2 cups flour 1 tbsp. cocoa 1 tsp. salt 1 1/4 cups sugar 3/4 cup shortening 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. soda, mixed in 1 cup water 2 eggs 1 tbsp. baking powder 2 cups chocolate chips
Put all ingredients in mixing bowl, and beat until well blended. Pour into pan, 13 x 9 and sprinkle chocolate chips over top of cake. Add nuts if desired.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes then at 325 degrees for 25 minutes.
