I've made Spinach Brownies for many years including last night, Christmas Eve 2005. Cut back to 1/4 c. butter. Holds together better, less greasy, and still delicious.
I also use only 1/2 diced onions. Be sure to squeeze all liquid out of thawed 10 oz. package (frozen) chopped spinach.
