My grandmother made these. It was a handful of this and that. Never written down. NOW LOST, please HELP!!!

On top of stove place a 13x9-inch cake pan. Add water, cinnamon, and brown sugar. bring to a simmer.

Then Peel, core and dice apples.

Make a dough. Not sure: if more like pie or biscuit dough. roll out in a large rectangle. not sure if 1/4 or 1/2-inch thick. On the dough put apples, dots of butter, springle with cinnamon and sugar.

Roll up like a jelly roll and cut 1 1/2 to 2-inch thick and lay them down on there sides in the 13 by 9 pan. Now they look like cinnamon rolls. BAKE not sure how long or what temperature.

they are great just out of the oven with a little milk on top. It's better than apple pie ala mode.
