A chocolate cake recipe that my mother made back in the 1960's. The cake was chocolate, three layers. A filling was used between layers. All I remember was it had nuts in it and was creamy. The icing was almost like fudge candy. I remember you cooked the icing and then had to beat it until it lost the shine and then ice the cake. The icing would get hard, like fudge. I remember she got the recipe from a magazine and I think the name of the magazine was "Farm Journal", but not positive on name. I had the recipe for several years, but it has been lost for probably 25 years now. I would love to have the original recipe once again. Thanks in advance.
