Jim, I see you requested this recipe in 2000 but I will post a recipe I copied down from a relative in the 60's and tried and loved. They also called it Chicken Pastry.

Boil chicken in big pot of water with chicken boullion.

Meantime, take a large bowl and pour in flour (don't have measurements, sorry), a dash of chicken bouillon, salt and pepper to taste and parsley.

Pour in:
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup milk
1 egg, beaten (optional)

Stir together to form a dough. Roll dough into balls and flatten. Roll out on floured board until thin and cut into strips.

Add to boiling broth and boil about a half an hour.

I hope this is what you are looking for, or at least close. My family loves this.
