Hello, my sister and I are looking for a lost family recipe, my parents have both passed away so we can't ask them, please help if you can!! My mother used to make a dessert/bread recipe that she called cottage cheese bread, it wasn't really a loaf bread, you made it in a 9x13 pan and I think the base was a yeast bread mix, but then on the top you poured a mixure of cottage cheese and sugar and ???? I think it had raisins in it also, You baked it in the oven and it came out sort of part doughy part chewy, you could cut it into big spuares but it was sweet and sooo good, I think I remember my mom saying one time that the recipe came from my dads side which was Polish?? This is a lesson in how we take things for granted, and also to ask your older relatives things you want to know befor it is too late. We would so love to bite into that yummy bread from our childhood again! and also to be able to pass it down to our children. I Hope someone out there can help, thank you ....
