BEVERLY, I MAKE LASAGNA QUITE OFTEN FOR MY FAMILY, I HAVE FOUND THAT BOB EVANS ITALIAN SAUSAGE, IN THE TUBE WORKS VERY WELL. I REGRIND IT IN MY KITCHENAID GRINDER, USUALLY WITH A COUPLE CLOVES OF GARLIC....THEN SLOWLY SIMMER IT UNTIL THE PINK COLOR IS GONE...THEN I ADD MY SAUCES AND A LITTLE RED WINE, MAKES AN ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS MEAL....I ALSO RATHER LIBERALLY COVER THE TOP WITH A GOOD LAYER OF PARMESEAN CHEESE....YUM!
