My Grandmother also made wonderful not roll and I have continued her tradition. I cannot manage the dough like she did (in a large snake) It takes our whole family to help me. BUT---it is wonderful!!

I think the difference in her recipe is that she added a lot of cinnamon and sugar and dots of butter on the spread before folding it over. She also added quite a bit of evaporated milk, a little honey, and some cinnimon to the spread while cooking it slightly before spreading. The different regions I am sure have different reditions of this recipe.
