NOVEL BAKED BEANS

1 cup cubed cooked ham
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
2 cans (16 ounces each) Heinz Vegetarian Beans in Tomato Sauce
1/3 cup Heinz Tomato Ketchup
1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard Dash cloves

In skillet, saute ham and onion in butter until tender but not browned.

Combine beans and remaining ingredients in a 1-1/2-quart casserole; stir in ham mixture.

Bake in 375 degree F oven, 45 to 50 minutes; stir occasionally.

Makes 4-6 servings (4 cups)
