CHICKEN IN TOMATO HERB SAUCE

1 medium onion, sliced
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/3 cup water
2/3 cup Heinz Tomato Ketchup
2 tablespoons dry red wine (optional)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1/8 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1 pound skinless boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
Hot cooked pasta (for serving)

Place onion, celery, garlic and butter in a 2-quart casserole. Cover dish with lid or vented plastic wrap; Microwave at HIGH 3 to 4 minutes, stirring once.

Blend cornstarch with water, then stir in ketchup and next 5 ingredients. Add chicken to vegetables; stir in ketchup mixture. Cover; Microwave at HIGH 7 to 8 minutes, stirring twice.

Serve over pasta.

Recipe tested in a 650-watt microwave oven.

Makes 4 servings (about 3 1/2 cups)
