MUELLER'S CHICKEN A LA KING WITH EGG NOODLES

1 package Mueller’s Wide Egg Noodles
4 tablespoons butter or chicken fat
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup green bell pepper
3 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup cream
2 egg yolks, beaten
2 cups cooked or conned chicken
2 tablespoons sherry

Cook wide egg noodles as directed and drain.

Melt butter, add mushrooms and green pepper and cook 5 minutes.

Stir in flour and seasoning. Add milk and cream slowly, stirring constantly until mixture boils. Add a little of this sauce to the beaten egg yolks and stir into the rest of the sauce. Add chicken and heat.

Stir in sherry just before serving on a hot platter with egg noodles.
