SWEDISH MEATBALLS
1 egg, slightly beaten 1/2 cup light cream or milk 1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon French’s Ground Allspice 1/4 teaspoon French’s Nutmeg 1/4 teaspoon French’s Black Pepper 1 pound ground beef 2 tablespoons oil or melted shortening 1 envelope French’s Onion Gravy Mix 1 cup water 1 tablespoon French’s Parsley Flakes Cooked rice or noodles (for serving)
Combine egg, cream, bread crumbs, salt, allspice, nutmeg, and pepper; add ground beef and mix lightly.
Shape into 24 meatballs. Cook in oil in large skillet, turning brown all sides.
Add contents of gravy mix envelope and water. Cook 5 minutes longer, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with parsley flakes. Serve with rice or noodles.

Hi Ricki,
I think we're getting a little closer. This recipe using Onion Gravy Mix, but doesn't have dill seed and uses bread crumbs so we're not there yet. Still looking!
