SOFT CHOCOLATE FROSTING1 1/4 cups sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
Dash of salt
1 1/2 cups milk
4 squares (1 ounce each) Baker’s Unsweetened Chocolate
2 tablespoons butter
Combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt in saucepan, Add milk and chocolate. Bring mixture to full boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
Add butter; stir until butter melts and frosting is smooth.
While frosting is warm, spread on cake.
Makes 2 1/3 cups frosting, or enough to cover tops and sides of two (9-inch) layers
