CURRIED CABBAGE IN BEER

3 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 teaspoons curry powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup beer
6 cups shredded cabbage

Melt butter in large skillet. Stir in curry powder, salt, beer and cabbage. Cover and cook, stirring once or twice, minutes, or until cabbage is tender.

Makes 4 servings
