I have been making a honey wheat bread since the late 1970's that may be the one you are referring to. It was originally printed on the back of a flour package, but is slightly different than
the one that was previously posted. It does not have rolled oats or nuts. Instead, the amount of bread flour is increased to 5 to 6 1/2 cups I bake this every year to give as Christmas gifts and always get rave reviews. I have shared the recipe with many fellow bread bakers who think it must be a family secret!
