EXTRA SMOOTH CHOCOLATE ICING

3 cups sifted confectioner's sugar
1/2 cup undiluted Carnation evaporated milk
4 squares (1 ounce each) melted unsweetened chocolate
1/3 cup softened butter

Combine sugar with evaporated milk (undiluted). Add cooled chocolate and blend well. Stir in softened butter and beat until light and fluffy.

Spread icing between, on sides and top of cooled cake layers. (Carnation’s double-richness and better-blending qualities result in extra smooth, creamy icings.)

Makes icing for 2-layer (8-inch) cake
