CORN FLAKE MACAROONS3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup evaporated milk
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups corn flakes
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup cut-up nuts
Mix sugar, evaporated milk and butter together in a 1 1/2-quart saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat to a boil (mixture will be bubbling all over top). Boil and stir 2 minutes more. Take off heat.
Stir in remaining ingredients. With 2 teaspoons, drop quickly on wax paper. Let stand until set.
Makes 2 dozen cookies
