1-2-3 MEAT LOAF1 lb. lean ground beef
1 envelope dried onion soup mix
2/3 cup evaporated milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (moderate).
Mix beef, dry soup mix and evaporated milk together in a 1 1/2-quart bowl. With wet hands, shape mixture into 4 individual meat loaves in a shallow baking pan.
Bake about 30 minutes, or until brown.
VARIATIONS:- The mixture may be shaped into a single loaf and baked 50 minutes.
- Double the recipe and shape into a large loaf. Bake about 1 hour.
- Good, too, as meat balls in barbecue sauce or patties cooked on outdoor grill.
