Thanks for responding! I read your recipe and it sounds yummy! Now that's a vegetarian's dream (not that I'm a vegetarian, given my lack of vegetables background I doubt I could ever be mistaken as one). I've got a BIG roasting pan, I'll have to get it out and start slicing. And what luck, I found that turnips can be used in place of potatoes and I even found a recipe for Turnips Au Gratin!
