When I "micro-dry" herbs other than chives, I just put them on a
double-thickness of paper towel in larger pieces and dry on HI for 4-6 min. Then
when they are dried (you might have to stir them half-way thru) I just pick up
the corners of the towels and make a little bundle and crush the herbs and pour
into an airtight jar. Maybe you could try that with the dill.
(By the way, grated citrus rind can be dried at 2-4 min. on HI -- just in case
anyone reading this is interested.)
