Char - I just read your posting below re Lora Brody's PLUGGED IN - mashed potatoes in bread machine. I have the book and have seen the recipe, but have not tried it. Do you just make that version? Or can you use it for any type of mashed potatoes? I have had it noted in my 'try' notebook but most likely for after the holidays. I think her comment re 'we like traces of lumps' sort of confused me .... as I have a granddaughter who wants hers very smooth! There are some interesting ideas in that book .... and I've tried a few so far .... we liked the caramelized onions in the slow cooker and so on. Thanks for any input you can give me. |
