we've had our GF Grill a little over a year (have the largest size). Now that's it warm we'll use the gas grill a bit more ....but if it's very windy or rains .... back to good old GF .... as we have no cover for the gas grill!

However, I still use it a lot in the summer. It is so much easier to clean than a broiler pan, or even (sometimes) my skillet. So I'll put veggies on to grill so that I can put them in a pasta salad; or I'll put boneless pork chops, chicken or such on so I can use in a salad or sandwich later in the day.

Sometimes we don't use it for a week - and then the next week we might use it 3 times. I know what you mean about appliances you 'don't use' ... I have a bunch of those ... on a shelf in the basement. They come out once or twice a year. Luckily most were gifts or prizes in cooking/recipe contests. It is nice to have them when I want/need them ... but where do you put these things? I don't think that GF would fit in that light -- at least for most people. I keep trying to think of new things to make in it -- or new ways -- I think it will be with us for quite awhile.
