Hello, Annie. Here is a recipe from The Best Bread Machine Cookbook Ever by Madge Rosenberg and published by HarperCollins in 1992. (I'm listing the 1 pound loaf ingredients first and the 1-1/2 pound loaf ingredients next to them in parentheses.) Cranberry Bread 1/3 cup fresh cranberries (1/2 cup) 1 1/2 tsp active dry yeast (2 1/4 tsp) 2 cups bread flour (3 cups) 1/4 cup rolled oats (1/3 cup) 3 tbsp cracked wheat (1/4 cup) 3 tbsp sugar (1/4 cup) 1/2 tsp salt (3/4 tsp) 1 tbsp grated orange zelt (1 1/2 tbsp) 3 tblspns vegetable oil (1/4 cup) 1 whole egg (1) 0 egg yolks (1) 1/3 cup orange juice (1/2 cup) 1/3 cup water (1/2 cup) [This recipe doesn't call for nuts, but you could just add 1/2 cup or so of chopped pecans during the last knead cycle.] Coarsely chop the cranberries. Freeze until hard. Add all remaining ingredients except the cranberries in the order suggested by your bread machine manual and process on the basic bread cycle according to the manufacturer's directions. At the beeper (or at the end of the first kneading in the Panasonic or National), add the chopped frozen cranberries. I've never made this, but I hope it turns out for you. Happy New Year!
