ELECTRIC SKILLET BEEF STROGANOFF

1 pound sirloin steak
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
2 cups warm water
3 cups uncooked noodles
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream

Cut beef in 1/4-inch by 3-inch strips.

Heat oil in electric skillet at 350 degrees F. Add beef and brown well. Push beef to side of pan.

Add mushrooms and cook until golden.

Stir in dry onion soup mix and water. Cover and simmer 10 minutes at 225 degrees F.

Cook noodles as directed on package and drain. Add to meat mixture along with mushroom soup. Simmer 5 minutes.

Stir in sour cream just before serving.
