hello,
i bought my kenmore bread maker from sears too. so i assumed they were same, but mine has a recipe book within. i tried making whole wheat bread using the french bread cycle, the result was more than satisfactory. now, i am making this bread most of the time.

this is the recipe for 1 1/2 lb loaf:

3 cups flour (i use whole wheat and all purpose flour half and half)
1 1/2 teaspoons oil
2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/8 teaspoons salt
1 1/8 teaspoons yeast
1 cup water
