Here is the order to add ingredients when using one model of Black and Decker All-In-One Bread Machine:

water
powdered milk
salt
sugar (sweeteners)
shortening (or butter, oil, etc.)
flour
yeast

Other models of the B&D list the milk, sugar, salt, sweetener in various order. Basically, keep wet ingredients first, flour and yeast last.
