AIRY WHITE BREAD
1 1/4 cups milk, room temperature 2 teaspoons shortening (used margarine) 3 cups bread flour 1 tablespoon sugar 3/4 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon yeast
Add ingredients to machine according to manufacturer's directions.
"This is the best loaf of light, airy bread that I have made in my ABM. I wish I could say what ABM Bread book it came from, but I got the recipe before I was concerned about such things. Never made it until now. I should add I use a scant teaspoon of sugar, usually add 3/4 cup of raisins, and that I run it on Sweet in my MisterLoaf ABM. It comes just a fraction of an inch from the inside top almost every time I make it."
