FRUIT ICE
2 cups cold water 1/2 cup sugar; to taste 1 cup mashed or pureed fruit
In a medium saucepan, dissolve sugar in water. Bring to a boil and boil 3 minutes without stirring. Cool completely.
Mix in fruit. Pour into (1 1/2 pint) ice cream machine and follow directions for ice cream.
