JALAPENO CHEESE BREAD
FOR A 1 LB LOAF: 1 1/2 teaspoons Red Star Active Dry Yeast 2 cups bread flour 1/3 cup cornmeal 4 teaspoons sugar 1 teaspoon salt 1 (1/4 cup) egg (room temperature) 3 tablespoons oil (80 degrees F) 2/3 cup water (80 degrees F) 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese 1 1/2 tablespoons chopped jalapeno peppers
FOR A 1 1/2 LB LOAF: 1 package Red Star Active Dry Yeast 3 cups bread flour 1/2 cup cornmeal 2 tablespoons sugar 2 teaspoons salt 1 ( 1/4 cup) egg (room temperature) 1/4 cup oil (80 degrees F) 7/8 cup water (80 degrees F) 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese 2 tablespoons chopped jalapeno peppers
Place ingredients into pan in the order suggested by the machine’s manual. Use the "BASIC BREAD" cycle.
