LUSCIOUS WHITE BREAD

FOR A 1 LB LOAF:
3/4 cup milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups white bread flour
1 1/2 teaspoons yeast

FOR A 1 1/2 LB LOAF:
1 cup milk
1 1/2 eggs
2 1/2 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
3 cups white bread flour
2 1/2 teaspoons yeast

Add wet ingredients first, dry ingredients second, and yeast last or according to manufacturers directions.
