hi miss spinach,
this is a very touchy topic in our house these days as chris and i just got married... well, according to the "elder" generation, we should be expecting "kids" anytime soon. with my addition to coffee, i have been constantly reminded to "quit", "cut down", "stop it until we don't want to have more kids" and etc. poor me... and can you believe that i got a very nice expresso maker from a dear friend as our wedding gift!!! well, for your information, i have limited myself to 2 cups/day and it is NOT easy!!! as far as that great expresso maker is concerned, i have put it away to the storage room until "that" someday arrives. :(
ok, talk about my preference of a great cup of coffee. it must be freshly ground coffee beans which will be excellent if they are arabia beans and dark roasted without any favoring, exp. hazel nuts. and it must be "short" expresso wihtout cream or sugar. yeah, the cream is a big NO-NO but if you accidentally put a sugar cube, i won't scream. a "tall" expresso loses its charm so that's out as well. no latte or capuccino for me whatsoever. i don't mind a nice cup of powdery greek/turkih coffee provided not having other male companies as my lips will become obviously "black" afterwards... and i love all my coffee in small thick expresso cups and they must be warmed before the coffee in poured... and if it's made by my dear husband, i am on the cloud nine!!! geez, am i picky or what!!!
