Just to let Kelly/WA know that over this hot weekend (80 degrees) I finally got a chance to make this ice cream. My husband who poo-pooed the idea from the start had to get in on the fun of "kicking the can" (actually we just rolled it back and forth)and we all enjoyed it. It made just enough for the four of us. The texture was smooth and the taste delicious. Being a soft ice cream it melted quickly but everyone devoured it so quickly no one seemed to notice. It was quick, convient to make at the camp, and a cool delicious treat that couldn't be beaten on such a sunny summer day. Hope everyone who makes it has as much fun as we did with it.
