Hi Mary Rose, What has worked for me is to put Ice Cubes on wax and when it is very cold the wax will peel off. I have also put table cloth or napkins directly in freezer and then peel off. I finally took my Mom's advice(as I purchased very expensive table cloths) and use a very very thin clear drop cloth purchased at Ace Hardware or similiar type store. My Mom has used these for years. We cut it to fit the size of the table cloth. I never have to worry anymore about any type of stains! Good Luck!
