Hi Burgundy,

What a problem....here is a solution or rather two:

1. Put a about 2 T. baking soda with a little bit of water in the decanter and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then with a wooden bamboo skewer, wiggle it around and scrape the stuff up.

If that does not work...

2. Pour in a little bit of Clorox bleach, that will really eat it up and do nothing to your glass.
