ROASTED PUMPKIN SEEDS
Pumpkin seeds 2 tbsp salt (or to taste)* water
Combine pumpkin seeds and salt in bowl. Add enough water to just cover seeds. Soak covered in refrigerater 24 hours or overnight.
WHEN READY TO ROAST: Preheat oven to 200 degrees F.
Drain seeds. Pat dry using paper towels. Spread on cookie sheet.
Bake for 4-6 hours stirring once an hour.
Taste test after 3 hours (cool before tasting)
*I have also added different ingredients to the soak, such as garlic, crushed red pepper, etc. I experiement with diffetent tastes small batches at a time.
