This isn't Ruth Chris' but I've had theirs. This would be close.
Steam broccoli- bout 2 c. flowerettes make cheese sauce: melt 1 1/2 T. butter stir in 1 1/2 T. flour.While on medium heat Whisk until blended. Stir in 1 cup cream ( milk will do). Whisk on medium heat until starts to thicken.Add 1 cup grated cheese. I like Monteray Jack. Use what you like. Whisk until melted. Place broccoli on small casserole. Pour on cheese sauce. Top with grated cheese/ bread crumbs. bake on 450 about 10 minutes til toasty and bubbly.
