I have marked this recipe "excellent" in my cookbook. My only note was I would try with less yeast as I had to push the dough down twice. Nothing else I've made calls for 3tsp. This is a very light bread.
Makes a 1 1/2 pound loaf 1 3/8 cup buttermilk (or 5 tbl dry buttermilk powder and 1 3/8 cup water) 3 cups bread flour 1 cup rye flour 1 1/2 tsp salt 1 1/2 tbl butter or margarine 2 tbl brown sugar 1/4 tsp baking soda 1 tsp caraway seeds 3 tsp yeast
