Mary, this is a recipe that I found here on the Kitchen Link a while back, posted by Becky from OH. It has become my family's favorite sauce. When I make it I use fresh garlic and basil. I hope you like it!

Supposed to be Pizza Hut Sauce
Source: Winnipeg Free Press

1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp dried basil leaves
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp ground black pepper
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp lemon juice
dash of onion powder
1/2 Tbsp sugar

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Heat the sauce until it starts to bubble, then turn the heat down and simmer, covered for 30 to 60 minutes, until it reaches the thicknes you desire. When the sauce is cooled store in the refrigerator in a tightly sealed container until required.
