Karen, what a wonderful place to live, although I hope you have air conditioning! I grew up in SA, am a Canadian citizen and now live in the US. I've been to Namibia twice, mainly the north, to Soususvlei, Walvis, Swakopmund and Etosha, with other places in between. I love the desert, it was a revelation to me when I first saw it and it is so awesome and compelling. Enjoy it a little more for me today! And, if you make the choc covered coffee beans, please report back. I will be back one day, the southern area, and the Caprivi are calling.
