The restaurants are now closed but for many years the Au Gratin Potatoes at Bill Knapp's were the favorite of many people. The potatoes were cubed and in a wonderful cheese sauce, baked and served in a ramekin. Bill Knapp's started in Battle Creek, MI and had sites throughout the state. Theyn were in Ohio and Indiana for a while but closed those stores. Fresh faces decided to "fix" what didn't seem to be broken by updating the sites and the menus. Needless to say much damage was done and patrons were lost.
