Gingerbread Loaf
Yield: 1 Loaf

1.5 POUND LOAF
3/4 c milk
1/4 c light molasses
1 egg
3 tb margarine
3 1/3 c bread flour
1 tb brown sugar
3/4 ts salt
3/4 ts ground cinnamon
3/4 ts ground ginger
1 ts yeast

LEMON ICING (OPTIONAL
1/2 c powdered sugar, sifted
1/4 ts vanilla
1 ts lemon juice
3 ts milk

Add the first 10 ingredients to machine according to manufacturer's directions. Use light setting. If desired, when bread is cool, drizzle bread with Lemon Icing.

Lemon Icing: In a small mixing bowl stir
together the powdered sugar, vanilla, lemon juice and enough milk to make an icing of drizzling consistency.
