El Chico Chili Conqueso

When I lived in se Oklahoma we always ate at the El Chico's across the red river. I loved the conqueso dip and went home searching for a copycat recipe. This is mine and I hope it helps.. It's as close to theirs as I have found so far.

1 jar El Paso Conqueso Dip
1/4 to 1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup chopped green onions

Heat in a pan the dip and the milk. You might want to start with 1/4 cup of milk to check for consistency. Add more as needed. When heated through add the tomatoes and green onions last. Serve with chips.

Note: My family always loved this recipe..its fabulous over enchiladas..good luck
