Hi Mommy of 2 :-) I have not tried this recipe but found it on the internet. Here you go:

GREAT AMERICAN COOKIE COMPANY'S CHEWY PECAN COOKIE

1/2 C. shortening
1 1/3 C. light brown sugar,
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 C. self-rising flour
1 C. crushed corn flakes
1 1/2 C. chopped pecans

Cream together shortening, sugar, eggs and
vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix well.

Roll into 2 inch balls bake at 350ºF for
about 9-11 minutes.

Be careful these things are addictive.
